NEXORA LABS PTE. LTD. ("us", "we", or "our") operates the MicLab application, a music social platform that allows users to connect through shared interests, real-time chat, and music-related discussions. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email, phone, date of birth, gender
- Profile Information: Photos, bio, interests, preferences
- Verification Data: Selfie photos for age verification (processed by Tencent Cloud AI, not stored)
- Communications: Messages and chat content
- Payment Information:
- iOS In-App Purchases: Transaction records, purchase receipts, order information (processed by Apple)
- We do NOT store your payment credentials. All payments are processed by Apple.
- Support Requests: Information when contacting support
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, model, OS, identifiers, network info
- Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, session duration, crash logs
- In-App Purchase History: Records for purchase restoration (stored locally and on our servers)
- Location Data: Approximate location based on IP (only with your permission)
- Cookies & Storage: For functionality and analytics
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Social Login: Name, email, profile from Apple/Google when you log in
- Analytics: Aggregated usage data from analytics services

We do NOT sell or rent your personal information.
We share data only in these circumstances:
- With Other Users: Public profile information you choose to share
- Service Providers: Trusted vendors for hosting, analytics, payment processing, support, moderation
- Apple Inc. (iOS IAP only): Transaction data (product ID, purchase time, receipt) shared with Apple for payment processing and verification. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Safety & Legal: When required by law, court order, or for safety
- Business Transfers: In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree
We will never share your private messages with other users, advertisers, or third parties (except as required by law).
4. Data Retention
- While your account is active: for as long as needed to provide services
- In-App Purchase Records: Retained for purchase restoration, account recovery, and refund processing (while account is active or as required)
- After account deletion: up to 90 days for security/legal purposes
- Longer retention: when required by law or to resolve disputes/fraud

7. Account Deletion
- You may delete your account through in-app settings
- Upon deletion: profile, photos, matches, messages are permanently removed
- Certain data may be retained for up to 90 days for security/legal obligations
- Data shared with other users (e.g., their messages) may remain in their accounts
8. Children's Privacy
MicLab is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware of a minor using the app, we will immediately delete their account and data. Contact us if you believe a minor is using MicLab.
9. Age Verification (Tencent Cloud AI)
- Data: One selfie photo (not stored after processing)
- Purpose: Verify age is 18 or older
- Processing: By Tencent Cloud AI, real-time, no retention
- No Biometrics: No facial geometry, templates, or recognition data is created or stored
- Encryption: TLS/SSL encrypted transit
- Third-Party: Data shared only with Tencent Cloud for age verification
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to countries outside your residence. We implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Third-Party Links & Services
MicLab may contain links to third-party websites/services not operated by us. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before using their services.
12. Push Notifications
We may send push notifications for matches, messages, security alerts, and service updates. Manage your preferences in device settings or within the app.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore (Personal Data Protection Act 2012 - PDPA).
15. In-App Purchases (iOS)
- Payment Processing: All iOS in-app purchases are processed through Apple App Store. We do NOT collect or store your payment credentials.
- Data Shared with Apple: Transaction data (product ID, purchase time, receipt) is shared with Apple for payment verification and restoration only. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Refunds: You may request refunds through Apple App Store → Your Account → Purchase History → Report a Problem. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple's policy (we cannot guarantee approval).
- Purchase Restoration: Purchase receipts are stored to restore purchases on compatible devices.
- Joint Controllers: For iOS in-app purchases, both NEXORA LABS PTE. LTD. and Apple act as joint data controllers in accordance with applicable law.

Important Update: Change of Data Controller
Pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and GDPR, the Data Controller has changed from [Previous: MengXia Wu] to [New: NEXORA LABS PTE. LTD.].
All personal information has been transferred lawfully and securely to the new controller, who will continue to fulfill all data protection obligations at no less than the original protection level. Any material changes to data processing will require your separate consent.
